My son is on the Autism Spectrum.  What that means day to day is about as varied as the infinite shades of a rainbow.  Some days are smooth-sailing green.  Others are haltingly red, like a series of stop signs standing in your way.  There are days filled with black humor, when all we can do is laugh (Really?  He pooped down the heat vent again?) and gray days without a single silver lining.  Then there are those brilliant, once-in-a-blue-moon days when our family’s life is not defined by autism and we simply exist Somewhere Over The Spectrum.
